Applications are invited for Research Assistant position in our Lab in the physics
department at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).
Ongoing projects at the lab include theoretical and experimental research on quantum
information, quantum computation and energy harvesting.
Position
Description:
Candidates should have a Master
degree in physics or another related discipline; this should be accompanied by a
solid track record in research as evidenced by the publication record. Ideal candidates
should be well versed in quantum theory, statistical mechanics. Experience in
one or more of the following areas in highly desirable: information entropy in
statistical mechanics, machine learning, generalized probabilistic theories and
quantum computation.
Salary:
The term of the appointment
is two years, with a competitive salary plus benefits, commensurate with the
candidate’s experience.
Outstanding
employee will be encouraged to pursue a PhD program in SUSTech.
